Our favorite home away from home for the weekend became the Cape Arundel Inn, overlooking beautiful Walker Point and the Bush Compound. With delicious cocktails and a stunning view, it was our nightly go-to spot. We were heart broken to hear that we'd missed the Bush family by one night for dinner but hoped with our repeated attendance we might stumble across them again! This historic B&B has 14 rooms as well as a lovely dinning room with an award winning chef and one of the only oceanfront restaurants in Kennebunkport.

After that we were on to a delicious dinner at The Tides Beach Club! The beautiful sister property of Hidden Pond, TBC is located on pristine Goose Neck Beach and has the most wonderful beach chic vibe, with rooms decorated by Jonathan Adler. I absolutely loved this hotel, it reminded me a lot of Montauk and has a totally different feel than everywhere else we went in KBPT.
Dinner was a huge hit, with delicious wine, amazing fish tacos, buffalo shrimp, farm to table salads and tasty tuna entrees. There were so many other wonderful things on the menu we wanted to try - especially the famous lobster roll and the fish and chips! We will definitely be back. Guests of the Inn can enjoy access to their beautiful beach with "Beach Tenders" who will set you up with comfy chairs, plush towels, a cooler filled with waters and even bring you lunch on the beach. Check out their website for even more beautiful photos.
